Pumping solids from a barge is most economical compared to manually handling them using excavators/ grab dredgers – which comes at a very high price – new or rentals not to mention the high operation & maintenance. Moreover, continuous output and operation for 12 or 24 hours is impractical, thereby reducing the sand output. All pumps are equipped with high chrome wearing parts, 4-10 pole low RPM motor ensuring less wear and tear of wearing parts, 1.1-1.3 Service factor motor depending on the site conditions.
